Please join the North Thurston Education Foundation in making a difference and helping keep local students warm this winter.
As the weather turns cold and wet each fall, many North Thurston Public Schools students do not have a warm winter coat. A warm coat is more than protection from the elements. It helps students get to school, stay healthy, and focus on learning.
Together, we can help ensure every child stays warm, dry, and ready to learn.
How You Can Help
Throughout the month of October, NTEF is collecting new winter coats in all youth and adult sizes for local students in need.
There are two easy ways to help:
- Donate a new winter coat in any youth or adult size at one of our participating community drop-off locations.
- Make a financial donation to help NTEF purchase the coat sizes needed most.
Every coat stays local and is distributed to North Thurston Public Schools students experiencing homelessness or financial hardship.
Want to Become a Collection Location?
Local businesses and community organizations are invited to support the New Coats for Kids Drive by serving as a collection location or helping spread the word.
