About the Program
Each year, more than 1,200 seniors in the North Thurston School District prepare to graduate and take their next steps into adulthood. For many students, this milestone is filled with excitement and pride — but for others, financial barriers make it difficult to fully participate in graduation traditions.
Nearly half of North Thurston seniors are enrolled in the Free or Reduced Lunch Program, and more than 70 students are experiencing homelessness. For these students, the cost of graduation essentials can add stress during what should be a celebratory time.
Sponsor a Senior brings our community together to ensure every student can celebrate graduation with dignity, confidence, and support. Your sponsorship helps cover essential items and small but meaningful expenses, so students can focus on celebrating their accomplishments and looking ahead to their future.
How You Can Help
Your support helps ensure every North Thurston senior can participate fully in graduation and celebrate this important milestone with confidence and dignity.
- Sponsor a Senior — $150
Provides a complete graduation support package, including a cap, gown, and tassel, a class yearbook, and a gift card to help cover graduation dinner or other related expenses. - Graduation Essentials — $75
Covers the cost of a cap, gown, and tassel so seniors can participate in the graduation ceremony. - Yearbook — $50
Gives a senior a lasting keepsake to remember their classmates, teachers, and senior year. - Gift Card — $25
Helps students pay for graduation-related expenses such as dinner, transportation, or other needs.
